I have been providing Counseling Services since 1998. I received my Bachelor of Arts at University of Southern California, and Masters of Clinical Psychology at Antioch University, Los Angeles. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2002, certified in HOCI, Brainspotting and trained extensively in EMDR. I have experience in state, agency, hospital and private practice outpatient work. I worked at Kaiser Permanente with an outpatient population. I am trained in Complex Childhood trauma and specific trauma, Somatic, IFS, DBT- CBT-CPT, Neuroexperiential training and other Psychodynamic modalities and with varying populations. These modalities work exceedingly well for both Simple and Developmental trauma and many other areas that have inhibited your ability to cope effectively in the present moment. I utilize Bi-lateral stimulation, using both a tactile device, utilization of bi-naural sounds, Tapping & Eye Movement. I am a somatic and sensorimoter therapist. I may incorporate these into the therapy sessions. It is also important for you to know that I am Christian and provide treatment from a Christian worldview. I believe faith is essential to the health and well-being of a person, I may bring this up if it is relevant to our work together, or if you bring it up. My work is also influenced from a holistic perspective. I believe your physical health can have a direct effect on your mental health.
